As evetjr girl 'who hss been proposed •' to more thsn once knows, it's every. man tor him- aelf. . Methods range from the casual **!_•.-*■ to the flowery, promlse- ladAt pleas. And of course there are many who contend that the girl nerselt maneuvers the fa^al question—though nothing la gained by Uter reminding her of that fact Ginger Rogers becomes engaged to three men at the same time ln "Tom. Dick and Harry." Robert Stak's RKO Radio production, which comes to the Sherman theatre, ChlUlcothe for a four- day engegeroent beginning Saturday. How aha solves her romantic dilemma provides new hilarious moments and material for a learned laboratory discussion on the art of lovemaklng. George Murphy, as Tom;' la her first suitor. Janie ao UnU- lites htm thst he threatens to kill himself but she snaps him out of that by the approved method of asking what means he will employ Finally she yields to his Impassioned pleadings. Recognized authorities label that aa the] catch-as-catch can technique;% a \ bit rough but often successful. { Next on the list is Burgess1 Meredith as Harry, carefree, happy-go-lucky garage mechanic. Their lips meet and each hears the melodic chimes of a bell. Just to make sure it isn't their Imagination they kits again and again hear thfchimea. Obviously their souls are In tune so what can Janle do but say "Yea"? Though Janie is engaged again she still isn't sure of herself. She still would like to meet Alan Marshal, as Dick, son of the richest man in town. She not only arranges that meeting but. on their first date, maneuvers a proposal out of him. Janle is now engaged to three men but she still doeant know which one she wanu to marry. Sb-h.still has ta make up- her mind, but her foray into romance has ' bstabltshed one fact:'* that three different methods of making love to one girl have proved successful Which may or may not prove of value to the amorous youth of the country. 4:00, song by congregation.
