Q. What is the Columbus Metropolitan Library's "Terms of Use" if I want to publish an image from the Image Collections?
A. Please contact staff in the Genealogy, History and Travel division at 614-645-2275 prior to using material from the Image Collections in publications. Some images may have restrictions or be copyrighted.

Q. How do I cite the source?
A. Please credit the use of any image as having come from "The Columbus Metropolitan Library Image Collections".

Q. Are images in the collection copyrighted?
A. Some images may be copyrighted. Please refer to Terms of Use / Copyright Statement.

Q. How do I download an image that I would like to use?
A. Right click on the image and save it to your personal computer.

Q. How do I obtain a higher resolution of an image?
A. Please contact the Genealogy, History and Travel division at 614-645-2275 to arrange for higher resolution scans.

Q. If you have material of historical significance you would like to contribute please contact the Genealogy, History & Travel Division at 614-645-2275. Your contribution may be made by either donating images to the library or by lending them to the library so that we may scan the image and return the original to you.
