The Columbus African-American Collection draws from the collections of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, community partners, and the citizens of Columbus to provide historical and
genealogical information to researchers and history enthusiasts. Included in the collection are photographs, newspapers, biographies, directories, and other primary source material that help illuminate the history of African Americans in Columbus.
The collection is always growing so please check back regularly for new items.
The Ohio Postcard Collection contains over 9,000 early 20th Century postcards of Ohio cities and towns from Aberdeen to Zoar.
The collection was originally acquired in the 1970s through funds from the John M. Lewis estate.
Columbus Memory is a collaborative project between the Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Columbus Historical Society providing access to thousands of images, primary documents, maps and artifacts about Columbus, Ohio.
